It worked well with RH 7.1 and lilo, but I want to knew did anyone successfully booted linux using XP boot loader without lilo? Newbie: can't boot
What is the best program to use for dual-booting 98se and XP? I'm using LILO. :-) Works great. I've got three hard drives on my other computer, one with Mandrake 9.2, the other with Windows98 SE, and the third with Windows XP Professional. LILO, the Linux boot loader, handles all of them without any problems.

I am concerned about using xp to accessing the internet. This is the first I had to use backup because of this virus. (Note, I have Nortons ghost, it is real easy to restore). It will automatically load itself into the NT boot loader menu. However, this has the disadvantage of making disabling XP because the boot files are different. A better alternative is to format your install partition using XP and copy the \I386 folder from the Win 2K CD to the partition just formatted.
